Are you a Graduate in English looking for a role in a Secondary School?

Do you want to gain invaluable experiences working with students before going on to complete a PGCE or Teacher training course?

We are working with a range of secondary schools who are eager to work with ambitious graduates who aspire to work in the education sector.

Working as an English teaching assistant, you will use your advanced knowledge in English to provide general classroom support to teaching staff during lessons; ensuring students are engaged with their lessons by offering prompts and explaining the work throughout. You will also work with students identified by teaching staff on a 1:1 basis and will look to improve their progress in the subject.

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be able to develop the skills and confidence in working with students in KS3 – GCSE level. This insightful opportunity will offer you the knowledge on how schools operate and the importance of collaborative teamwork.
