Graduate Teaching Assistant

Teaching personnel are recruiting a graduate to work at a school in the north London area. The graduate will act as a teaching assistant and learning support assistant in a school in the area which will mean they must have strong subject knowledge in their degree as well as transferable skills to that of maths and English. The main aim of the graduate will be to help those pupils that are under achieving in the school and make sure they are enjoying school life as well as their academia.

The role

-          Working with SEN pupils in a classroom environment, with an opportunity to gain valuable experience.

-          Pay will be minimum £80.00 per day.

-          Payments are made a week in arrears, with payments made on a PAYE basis.

-          Start date March 2023.

To commute to the school, there is an onsite car park that is free to use by staff and is positioned where there are lots of main road and motorway links. There is also a tube station within 10 minutes of the school and many local bus routes should the selected teaching assistant prefer to travel via public transport.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
