Are you a recent graduate looking to build upon your previous school based experience to gain a place on a PGCE?

This client school located in Rochdale currently require a teaching assistant to work directly within the department. The ideal candidate will preferably have a degree or hold teaching assistant qualifications. To be considered for this position it is essential that you hold previous experience working with a range of pupils varying in ability and backgrounds in secondary schools.

You will be required to provide general classroom support as well as working with small groups of pupils who are slightly behind their target grades, working closely with the department recording progress and updating the faculty leader on a regular basis. To be considered you will need to have;

*A Degree

*A strong academic background

*Commitment to working with a range of pupils varying in ability.

This is a mixed 11-16 secondary school recently graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience supporting with pupils from different backgrounds, confident, competent delivering set schemes of work and keeping the faculty leader well informed.

This position is a September start and you will be required until the end of academic year in July.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
