Graduate Teaching Assistant in South Manchester needed
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit for a number of recent University graduates who would like to gain experience as a Teaching Assistant within Secondary school within South Manchester. This is a great opportunity to gather valuable experience before going on to complete a PGCE and to gain QTS in any subject area. Teaching Personnel work with a number of schools throughout the Trafford/South Manchester/Stockport area and are always looking to recruit more people to meet our ever-growing demand from schools within these areas.
We can offer a variety of roles depending on what you are looking for and what your availability is – this includes part-time/Short-term temporary roles and full-time/long-term roles. Both of these have benefits: Long-term roles will allow you to build effective relationships within the school and would provide you with a level of consistency within your work, whereas shorter term roles (day to day roles) would allow you to have more flexibility should your schedule change regularly.
The role of a Teaching Assistant is to work with students either in a one-to-one or small group basis, helping them throughout a range of subjects as well as helping them with their literacy and numeracy skills. A Teaching Assistant should be empathetic, quick to build effective working relationships, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running with any role by displaying confidence within the work setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
