Role: Special Support Assistant 

Contract: Full-time

Salary: £77-£85+ per day

Teaching Personnel are looking for a Special Support Assistant to support an outstanding school with a nursery, on-site speech therapy, physiotherapy and hydro-therapy services. The successful candidate will be supporting children and young people with complex and multiple physical disabilities. This role will be varied and busy, as no two days are ever the same, so a level of flexibility and adaptability is key to success in this position.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
  • Have an overseas criminal clearance or willing to apply for one
  • Have a child enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for one
  • Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
  • Minimum of three months UK residency
  • We do not accept those on skilled worker visas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
