Are you an English graduate looking to gain a teaching assistant position for the remainder of the academic year?  Are you looking to expand your experience prior to beginning your Teacher Training in September 2023?

There are a number of full time positions available where you will be required to support KS3 pupils, as well as KS4 pupils preparing for their summer examinations.

You will be require to provide general classroom support within your subject specialism department as well as providing additional support to a range of pupils differing in ability. To be considered for this position you will need to have:

  • A degree related to English studies
  • Secondary school based work experience
  • A strong academic background
  • Ability to influence and motivate pupils to achieve pupil progression

This role would be ideal for graduates who want to gain confidence in working with students of all abilities, supporting them with a range of subjects, more specifically English Language and Literature.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
