Pay: £75-95 a day (dependent on experience)

A lovely primary school in Bromley are looking to recruit a full-time teaching assistant for their year 1 class. As a teaching assistant you’ll be working closely with the class teacher to help pupils expand their knowledge and play a positive role in school life. You will utilise your knowledge, communication skills and creativity to help pupils achieve their potential both academically and socially.

You will be required to:

  • Work full time (Monday – Friday, 08:30am – 15:30pm)
  • Provide support to the teacher and year 1 class
  • Assist with academic and social development
  • Offer support to the teacher with resourcing and displays
  • Establish trusting relationships with pupils and interact with them according to individual needs and personalities.
  • Provide feedback to pupils and teachers on pupil’s achievement, progress and any problems that arise.
  • Passionate approach to helping students
  • Proactive in the classroom and use your initiative

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
