Teaching Personnel is seeking a Sixth Form Teaching Assistant to join our team at a college in Manchester. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and proficiency in literacy and metamathematics.

  • Supporting sixth form students in their academic studies
  • Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and providing additional support when necessary
  • Cultivating a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Strong literacy skills
  • Proficiency in metamathematics concepts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience in a similar role within an educational setting
  • Additional qualifications in Special Education or relevant field
  • Temporary position with full-time hours
