We are working closely with a highly supportive specialist education setting located in the Harbourside area of Poole.

Full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant role
Supporting pupils aged 10-16 with SEMH needs
Working hours: 8.30am to 4pm
Secondary provision available
Providing consistent one-to-one support to help pupils access learning
Supporting emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in lessons
Immediate start available
Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Anxiety and low mood
Attachment and detachment disorders
Challenging behaviour linked to emotional regulation difficulties
Minimum of 6 months' childcare experience, particularly supporting children or young people with SEN
Experience working with SEMH needs is highly desirable
Calm, patient and resilient approach
Ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
Confident working one-to-one and as part of a wider support team
Competitive pay of £13.75 per hour, paid weekly
